This weekend we had a wedding at Manila Cathedral. It got me a bit excited because it was our first time there and we didn’t know what to expect. Take note, this is not our first church wedding as wedding coordinator. We’ve had several already including weddings at the garden or by the beach. I didn’t know that picking a church is also one of the main decisions a couple makes. It has to have a special meaning as to why they chose to have their Church wedding there. Anyway deciding on the church should be the first in mind to have it reserve in advance because it might not be available. Then that’s the time you can decide on the date.

Before June was the favorite date to marry, that is why there is such a thing called June Bride. It was said to be a lucky month for brides as Feng shui experts would say. Another is June is considered to have a good weather compared to other months.

So once the Church and date have been settled picking out your entourage, starting with your list of sponsors, who is going to be your best man and maid of honor and your choice of Secondary sponsors. If you have enough budgets you can also add Bridesmaids and Groomsmen. Let’s not forget the bearers and flower girls. I just witnessed another wedding last weekend, It so happen the reception took place at a five star hotel. So what’s suppose to be just one wedding, I can’t help to witness other wedding as well.

The first thing that caught my eye of course was the different Bridal Gown. No two gowns were alike that’s for sure. I think even if the bride has specific details in mind I think the designer or dressmaker still puts a little touch from their own.

I’m no expert when it comes wedding because I have never experienced a wedding which includes a huge preparation together with a large entourage…Etc. but when it comes to witnessing several weddings, I can call myself an expert because I work as a wedding coordinator.

This includes pre-nup pictures that would be taken before your wedding day. Video coverage of the whole wedding event, painstakingly edited by the videographer for you to watch it over and over again in the future, and maybe even show it to your children when the time comes.

Eventually it’s not the food at the reception that would be remembered, or the enormous cake. It’s the whole coverage of the wedding that’s going to be remembered and cherished over and over.
